Grants for Canada

Each year, many students go to Canada as part of their studies. With its rich, diverse learning opportunities, Canada offers real opportunities for study. But training is relatively expensive and grants for Canada are therefore very helpful to fund your studies!

University is not free in Canada. Registration fees vary between €3,000 and €20,000 depending on the province, the programme and the course.
Grants are limited and are not sufficient to cover all the costs of staying in this country. The Canadian government is therefore in favour of providing grants. We would recommend you prepare your grant application well in advance.

  • The Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada (AUCC):

This association offers study, research and internship grants to young people in post-secondary education.

  • The Canadian Bureau for International Education (CBIE):

This organisation offers several types of grant:

  • Commonwealth grants: aimed at students carrying out post PhD research or on exchange programmes.
  • OAS scholarships (Organization of American States).
  • Canadian University grants :

Each Canadian university manages a comprehensive, detailed list of the grants it awards. Check with your host institution because grants are awarded on a case by case basis.
