ALFA: European programme for cooperation in higher education with latin America

The ALFA programme aims to establish active cooperation between the European Union and Latin American countries.

The main objective of this programme is to improve the quality of education in Latin America. How is this achieved? By encouraging joint projects between higher education institutions by providing funding and facilitating student mobility.
You therefore have the opportunity to study in Latin America if your institution participates in the ALFA programme. You may then be entitled to a grant to help fund your stay abroad.
